In 2008, I competed in the WEC and was finishing a regular top 10 in E1. Also in the BEC I was a contender for the championship title, but due to some technical hitches and a lack of income I was, unfortunately, unable to complete the season.
Interview:
WHEN DID YOU START RIDING A BIKE? I started riding schoolboy motorcross at 6 years old, and continued until 2002 when I began riding in enduro.
WHO WERE THE MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN YOUR CAREER UNTIL TODAY? Obviously my parents supported me when I first began riding. Although they still support me, I have had sponsors in enduro who have also helped me in my career.
WHAT IS YOUR BEST AND WORST MEMORY DURING A RACE? Best memory – Finishing the last test in Germany when I became European Junior Champion in 2005. Worst memory – 2006 plagued with injury and had 3 operations, so I was unable to compete in much racing.
DO YOU HAVE A TRAINING PROGRAMME TO PREPARE FOR EVENTS? I have ongoing training throughout the year.
WHO INSPIRES YOU IN ENDURO? David Knight
WHERE AND HOW DO YOU THINK YOU WILL BE IN 10 YEARS? I hope to still be riding a motorcycle, and achieve more good results, and progress towards becoming a world champion.
